COVID-19, How The Boutique Is Operating Under This Difficult Time
Posted on April 06 2020
This year was off to a great start with sales increasing from the beginning of 2020. Lattes and Mamma T’s Boutique was booking events every month to travel around Southeastern Michigan as a mobile boutique. Everything came to a screeching halt at the beginning of March. That was when the pandemic was picking up in Michigan. Trade shows and events had to be canceled. I even canceled the virtual pop up shops scheduled to begin the second week of March. I didn’t know how shipping would continue.
While the boutique is still able to ship there could be some delays as things could change in the foreseeable future for the postal system. For now I’m still shipping. The fulfillment center I work with is ensuring safe practices when shipping—hand washing, clean handling, cleanliness, and staying home when sick.
I will be putting together virtual pop ups on Facebook and Instagram.
My heart and prayers go out to the families that have been effected by COVID-19. Please stay at home, wash your hands, practice social distancing in adherence with your State, and stay well.
